UIM Formula 2

The roots of Formula 2 catamaran boat racing date back more than 40 years. Today Formula 2 is the official internationally recognized catamaran boat racing class governed by the Union Internationale Motonautique (UIM). In 2008 there are three different series of events running under the UIM Formula 2 flag – Continental Championship in Scandinavia, Middle East and Africa, European Cup, and World Cup. The ultimate goal of most Formula 2 drivers is to move up to the UIM Formula 1 World Championship series.
