Jonas wins Match Race and Latvians fastest in Speed Record

Jonas Andersson of F1 Team Sweden beat Italian Alex Carella in Match Race final. Uvis Slakteris of Riga Powerboat Team had the fastest speed of 172 km/h and Ugis Gross of Kalnciems Racing Team was second with 169 km/h.

Match Race competition was very exciting local spectators very a bit disappointed to see Uvis Slakters loose in a nail biting semifinal to Alex Carella. Jonas Andersson took out Owen Jelf of Jelf Racing Team (UK) in the other semifinal. However, the Latvian crowed could cheer after the race for third place as Uvis was just slightly quicker to reach the finish line and kept Owen away from the podium.
