Riga is on with 22 boats

The biggest sporting event of the year in Riga, Latvia – UIM Formula 2 World Cup – is on with 22 pilots from 14 countries.

As already mentioned, this is the greatest number of boats participating at a single Formula 2 event in the last two years. It is expected that it will be a magnificent show for the spectators and a great race for the pilots.

All top F2 pilots are on the line-up and during the free practice session Colin Jelf of Jef Racing Team (UK) had the best lap time followed by his brother Owen. Experienced F1 pilot Jonas Andersson of F1 Team Sweden was third and local favorite Uvis Slakters of Riga Powerboat Team forth.
